New Moon Premium Hainanese Chicken Paella Rice


3 cups (rice cooker measurement cup) of New Moon Premium Fragrant Organic Rice

1 box New Moon Hainanese Chicken Rice paste

1 can New Moon New Zealand Abalone drained

1 can New Moon Razor Clam, drained

Prawns, deveined and keep the heads and shells.

2 squid or calamari, cut rings

Roasted tomato can or diced fresh tomatoes.

2 teaspoons saffron threads (can be substituted to 1.5 tablespoons turmeric powder)

1 tablespoon paprika powder

1 lemon, cut wedges

2 stalks parsley, chopped


1. Wash and drained NewMoon organic rice and put inside the rice cooker.

2. Add in NewMoon chicken rice paste and add water accordingly like cooking normal rice.

3. Add in saffron threads and paprika powder. Stir to combine.

4. Cook rice as per normal.

5. Check on the rice cooker, 12 minutes before the rice is cooked, add in prawns and squid into the rice cooker. Continue to let it cook until the times is up.

6. Fluffed up the rice, add in NewMoon razor clams and mix well. Lastly, arrange slice abalone on the paella rice.

7. Scoop some rice on individual plates squeezed a wedge of lemon and sprinkle with chopped parsley.*For spicy options, sprinkle some chili powder
